Guest Post: It’s Time To Get Rid Of North Dakota’s Income Taxes
Recently the ND Office of Management and Budget told us we could expect a budget surplus of $1.6BN instead of $850M at the end of June 2013. Many people are asking, “How did we miss the forecast by almost double?” I say it is what it is at this point, and it is good news for the people of North Dakota because there is no more excuses to not have more tax relief in the state of North Dakota.
Today on my show, I shared why we can and should get rid of individual income taxes and corporate income taxes. Plus, I touch on why the oil extraction tax should be changed too. Do you agree or do you feel there are other ways to better utilize this surplus?
