Guess Who Skipped A Meeting With General Petraeus On Iraq?

Nancy Pelosi.
Proving once again that Democrats don’t so much care about what’s actually happening in Iraq as they do about declaring the war a loss for political purposes.
Personally, I think that any politician who wants to speak out on Iraq must first prove a consistent track record when it comes to actually meeting with the military leaders in charge of prosecuting the war. Otherwise, they should keep their mouths shut as they clearly don’t care enough about the war to even sit through a hearing.

It’s so much easier to maintain the story about the war being lost if you have plausible deniability, as in “General Patraeus never told me what was going on over there in Iraq”. You can even act like you believe the lies you are telling that way.

I think this sums it up pretty well. I think the American people will see that the dems only want to surrender and except defeat.

From the Blog Article: This latest insult to our troops should come as no surprise since others in the Democrat leadership have declared the war lost despite our military commanders’ statements to the contrary and before General Petreaus has even gotten the additional resources he’s requested.

His reinforcement hasn’t even been fully implemented before congressional leaders have called it a failure.
