According to multiple news sources, the Romney campaign taunted Obama supporters today driving a bus emblazoned with the campaign’s logos and slogans around the site of the President’s speech today honking the horn.
I don’t know if that was a decision made by the candidate himself, or just campaign staff, but it was a poor decision. We get our fill of childish antics from the left. This is the sort of thing I’d expect from the Obama campaign, not directed at it.
And, frankly, I didn’t think the Romney campaign sending hecklers after David Axelrod a few weeks ago was really any better.
Maybe this sort of thing fires up the base. I don’t know. But at a time when our nation needs serious discussion of serious issues, we don’t need the men running for the highest office in the land behaving as if this were a campaign for student body president of some middle school.
