    Sacramento, just a little bit north of here, was colder today than the record low set there in 1972. So, it’s colder than it’s been in the last 37 years, so it must be “global warming”?
    The only thing “wimpy” around here is anyone thinking that MMGW is a bogeyman we need to be rescued from.

    Greetings:

    As much as I am a son of the Great Northern Forest who doesn’t believe that you’re cold until your eyeballs are cold, your timing on this is terrible. I live just south of the People”s Republic of San Francisco Bay and today is the coldest day I remember since I was deported out here back in 1983. The bottom line on today is, blondes, yes; bikinis & beaches, no.

    It was brisk here in San Jose this morning as well. Dog walking at 0530 it was about 29-30F, heavy frost and ice on cars, and we had sleet last night while walking the dogs at 1700. The hills around us are capped with snow, and we have several more storms lined up out in the Pacific headed this way…

    It’s actually 75 degrees here in North Dakota today. Reports to the contrary are all just propaganda intended to keep the riff raff out.

    Old Norwegian trick. We did the same thing thing Greenland and Iceland.
