Grasping At Straws

Its becoming obvious that the liberals in the media are bothered by Bush's consistent lead over Kerry in the polls. Otherwise we wouldn't be getting stories about some tiny newspaper (circulation less than five hundred) in Bush's hometown writing an editorial in favor of Kerry. We also wouldn't be getting stories about the children of long-dead President's supporting Kerry.

These stories mean absolutely nothing in terms of which candidate will make a better President. Yet, for some reason, they're being plastered all over the place. I've been seeing the story about the Crawford newspaper for days now. The story about Eisenhower's son just popped up this evening, but I'm sure it will make the rounds as well.

If Laura Bush or one of her daughters comes out in support of Kerry I'll be interested. Otherwise, who cares?
