Governor Chris Christie Coming To North Dakota To Rally For Republicans

North Dakota Republicans are bringing some real political star power to the state. The press release below from the NDGOP announces that Chris Christie will be in Fargo later this week to rally for the various Republican campaigns.

Christie has long been a friend of current Lt. Governor Drew Wrigley, both men having served as US Attorney in their respective states at roughly the same time.

Bismarck, N.D. – The North Dakota Republican Party today announced New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is headlining a victory rally at the Fargo Air Museum on Saturday, October 6 at 8:45 AM.

“Lieutenant Governor Drew Wrigley and I are both personally acquainted with Governor Christie and we are delighted he’s willing to visit us here in Fargo,” said Governor Jack Dalrymple. “Heading into the last four weeks of the campaign, his visit illustrates how important our elections are, and more importantly, the strength of all our Republican candidates across North Dakota. This is a great opportunity to rally our supporters and build enthusiasm toward Election Day, November 6th.”

Speakers include Governor Jack Dalrymple, U.S. Senator John Hoeven, U.S. Senate candidate Rick Berg, and U.S. House candidate Kevin Cramer. Lieutenant Governor Drew Wrigley will emcee the event.

Following the rally, candidates and supporters will participate in the North Dakota State University Homecoming parade on University Drive at 10:00 AM.
