Gore: Big Spending Bill Will Help Save Us From Global Warming
For years now I’ve been pointing out that the “fix” for global warming sounds a lot like socialism. Well once again, Algore confirms and obvious fact.
WASHINGTON—Former Vice President Al Gore urged lawmakers Wednesday not to let the economic crisis get in the way of addressing global warming.
Testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Nobel Peace Prize winner said Congress should pass President Barack Obama’s economic stimulus package as a first step to bringing greenhouse gases under control.
One thing is that is obvious is the stated goal of the “stimulus plan” is to get the economy humming again. And what happens then? People buy more cars, go on more trips, buy more products that use energy to make and use.
Of course we all know that’s not what this plan is really about. It’s about expanding the size of government. And that fits right in with the true meaning of “global warming” or “climate change” as the clueless John McCain would hiss.” Because the global warming scam is all about giving government more power over the regular people. And that fits in, hand in glove, with the Obama/Pelosi/Reid Stimulus spending bill.
