Google Maps Get Better

I haven’t had a lot of very nice things to say about Google of late, but all that aside: They are still one of the coolest companies on the internet.
They’ve just improved both their online Google Maps feature and their Google Earth application to allow for increased zooming and better image clarity.
Just to give you a taste, here’s a super zoomed-in view of the Sydney Opera House.

    I think the google maps interface is just a public release of an application commissioned by the NSA. They just plug into a much better photobank ;) Ultra high-res and virtually real-time.
