Going To Minnesota

I’ll be headed to Minnesota today and won’t be back until late tomorrow night.  Obviously, this means blogging for me will be pretty much non-existent.  Which might be a good thing.  Every once in a while I tend to sort of hit a wall in my blogging, and lately I feel like I haven’t been able to post much quality stuff.  A day or so on the road and mostly away from the computer might be just what I need.

But never fear, there has been some great blogging going on over on the reader blogs.  Be sure to check it out.  And if you’d like to follow along with reader posts here’s a feed for them.

If you want to post to the reader blogs, click here to register.  Once you’re registered, click here to log in.  Once you’re logged in, click here to go to the reader blogs section and then click the “request a blog” link at the top of the right sidebar.  That will send a request to me.  Once it is approved you can post live to the site all you want.

I’ll be checking in to approve new blogs throughout the day.

And I get to spend some quality time with my Bunny.... oops… I mean Rob.  I wish we were going to the Twins game.

carol on October 4, 2006 at 07:22 am

No, not baseball.  A family trip.  Funeral, unfortunately.

Carol on October 4, 2006 at 09:01 am

Bunny?

BUNNY????

Ho HO! Like we are going to let Rob forget THAT one!

Ken McCracken on October 4, 2006 at 09:11 am

Ken, it’s “Bunny Boy.” Mrs Carol let that one out of the bag on his birthday.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Glad I read all the comments first, I was going to jokingly ask if he was going to Minnesota with an aching in his heart, a Led Zepplin joke. Sorry to hear of a death in the family, my condolences. I was also going to hit the “going to raise dental floss” line, just can’t beat Zappa. But then again, thats Montana.

I bet it’s awfully quiet there, with the Twins down 0-2.  Go A’s!!

brenarlo on October 4, 2006 at 12:54 pm

Oh way to go Brenarlo, bring up baseball on a funeral thread.

But since you brought it up, I’m sure it’s quiet down there getting ready for the victory party Sunday night.

Nice of them to guarentee that they won’t clinch on the road.

We listened to the game on the XM radio on the road.  What a tough loss.

The three runs Oakland won by were all unearned.  If Hunter had fielded that one play it would have been a different game altogether.

Frankly, I’d rather see my Yankees play Oakland rather than the Twinkies in the ALCS.

I’m a Yankee’s fan but I also follow the Twins.  I pull for both of them except if they’re playing one another.  Then it’s Yankees all the way.

By the way… Bunny Boy, his dad and I had a good trip.. even though it was to a funeral.  We loooovvvee him.

Does he get cranky after a long car trip?  It must be heck for you with him saying “are we there yet for 250 miles.

No.  He drove and he doesn’t get crabby with his Saintly Mother.  Not often anyway.

Carol on October 5, 2006 at 05:57 pm

Rob drove?  He managed to not get lost all the way from Minot to Bemidji.

Lucky for you there’s no turnoffs.

Yeah he drove.  You can’t get lost going to Bemidji!!  You get on Highway #2 and go east until you get there.

He’s a pretty good driver.  He slows down to speed limit going through little towns.  Quite unlike his father!!!

I’m an excellent driver, but a poor passenger.

I can’t stand it when other people drive.

I’m glad you didn’t wind up in Havre.

But only on Sundays.

I can’t ride with other people, either. It is bad enough having to deal with their driving, I damn sure ain’t gonna sit in a vehicle with’em.

I’m glad you didn’t wind up in Havre.

To wind up in Havre you have to go West on Highway 2.

Carol on October 6, 2006 at 08:22 am

That’s what I was afraid of.

My best team of MLB is The Minnesota Twins . This why I always fallow their games especially whenever I have some time. I’m always trying not o miss any of their game and hear about the team’s news. But The Minnesota Twins tickets get more pricy especially when there are some hot games. But, if we’re really good fans we should try not to be mean when we’re talking about a favourite teams. It’s not only the Twins tickets that got pricy, but there are other major teams too, so the team needs our support and we should provide as much as we can.
