But what is wrong with our culture?  What makes young women put themselves in harms way for the sake of having nice big breasts?

It’s sad that American girls subject themselves to this sort of barbarism for the sake of American men.  Who is putting this pressure on them?  Hollywood or men?

She was captain of her high school cheerleading squad, a nearly straight-A student and a soon-to-be pre-med freshman at the University of Florida.

But now, 18-year-old Stephanie Kuleba is dead, and her friends, relatives and family attorney are pointing to breast surgery as the reason.

No official cause of death has yet been released, but family lawyer Roberto D. Stanziale told FOXNews.com that doctors believe Kuleba died of a rare and potentially deadly genetic reaction to general anesthesia known as malignant hyperthermia, which sends the body into shock.

Stanziale, a medical malpractice lawyer, said Kuleba had gone in for cosmetic surgery to correct an inverted nipple and asymmetrical breasts — a procedure that involves implants.

Poor thing.  Sad.

Her and her friends should have listened to more GoldFrapp.

I think this lil’ Pacific Northwest chickadee is wonderful. Besides, regardless, of her talents, the song she chose won her a place in my heart. She gave me chills and brought tears of pride to my eyes.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Good example.  The Dixie chicks prior to their remarks of Bush were playing the game, sucking up to their anti-freespeech conservatives who dont understand tough love.

When they made that remark there is no doubt that was genuine, thus there behavior afterwards to stand their ground proves they were genuine and turning their backs on some of their fans.

Was what they said patriotic?  Well, it depends on your outlook doesn’t it?

Whistler, when I said playing the game, I meant playing the game and singing about things that target a certain audience.  They don’t do that now and they are adamant about the fact that they have more freedoms as artists now.

Believe it or not there are some decent, honest people who know and understand the price paid for our freedoms.  They enjoy their lives and are truly happy.  Some sing about it as a way to express their joy.  Some write books, some make movies like Flags of our Fathers, some wrote poetry like Francis Scott Key, some join the military, some go to Church, some tell their children The Truth.

Believe it or not there are some decent, honest people who know and understand the price paid for our freedoms.  They enjoy their lives and are truly happy.  Some sing about it as a way to express their joy. 

I am not questioning that Chief, of course that is the case for some, many, whatever.  My point was that in country music, a lot people fake their patriotism and admiration of all things country.  This was written about by a lot of country artists like Neko Case and K.D. Lang.  When you sign a contract you are sometimes asked to sing songs you didnt write or songs that don’t ring true to their person.  Thats all I am saying.

Some write books, some make movies like Flags of our Fathers, some wrote poetry like Francis Scott Key, some join the military, some go to Church, some tell their children The Truth.

I agree with all of that.  All I am saying is sometimes, people pull out their patriotism to make a buck.
