Pretty interesting stuff.

One point I hadn’t considered was just how much of a role the foreign box office plays in much of Hollywood’s liberalism and outright anti-Americanism.  Apparently some of these movies make more money overseas than they do here at home, so the more blatant they are in their liberal preachiness and the more blatant they are in their jabs at their own country the more foreign audiences applaud.

Glenn’s point about liberals being the new prudes was well taken as well.  Once upon a time if you were a busybody telling everyone else how to live you were a social conservative.  And while that’s still true to some extent, today it’s the liberals telling you want not to drive and what not to eat.

Funny how things change, but sort of stay the same too.
