Gateway Sucks

So last week I had to send my laptop in to get serviced by Gateway. I was actually fairly impressed with their service. I called tech support with the problem late Wed. night. Thursday morning at 9:30am Gateway had the box for the return in my office. I shipped it out that same day.

Fast forward to this morning. The delivery man brings a box from Gateway into my office. I'm thinking there's no way they could have the thing fixed this fast, but sure enough the laptop is in the box. I was literally giddy with excitement. I missed that thing while it was gone.

So I opened the box up and put the laptop on the counter to warm up (its about 10 above here right now). After about an hour I went back and turned it on and low and behold they didn't fix a damn thing. In the box there was no letter or note to let me know what had gone wrong. Nothing. All I got back was my same broken laptop.

So I called tech support again and as luck would have it the previous technician I had spoken with didn't document my issue, so when the repair center got my laptop they didn't know what to do with it. I have to ship the thing back to them again tomrrow. The technician said the fix will likely take about two weeks.

I'm so angry right now I could spit.
