Friday Night Video: Johnny Cash’s Hurt

The Man in Black’s last, poignant hit:

One of the best covers of all time, to my mind.

Anyone else got a favorite cover they’d like to link to?

Metalica’s cover of “Here I Am” is definitely high on the list of best covers.

I thought their cover of Skynyrd’s “Tuesday’s Gone” was better, but then I’ve never been much of a Seger fan.

Staind did a pretty good cover of “Sober” by Tool that I am pretty partial to right now.  Gets a ton of play on Sirius.  But Cash singing Hurt is just bad ass.

That’s a real cheer you up song.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.
