Fox Reviews Al Franken’s Tax Problems

Is it just me, or is it particularly enjoyable to watch a big-government, tax-and-spend liberal be roasted over tax problems?

One version of this that I heard is that the tax statements were not sent to the address that he is at.  Hmmm Sounds like the old saying, “It’s harder to hit a moving target”.  However, the address that the tax statements were sent to are the same as his campaign location/contacts. Maybe Franken can make some jokes about that---Lies told by the gov’t Liars, etc.

Elitists like Franken can’t be concerned with the minutia of their personal taxes when they are busy with the “American people’s business.”

Yeah I am enjoying it a lot. This SHOULD damage Frankens campaign.

I like Newt’s “ruthless standard” for Democrats! Actually noticing their preachers and hiring competent accountants! Heh.

Those who think the party or the country, will be “taught a lesson” by handing the levers of power over to the liberals will learn a lesson, but it will be at the expense of our country and her liberties. And there are no guarantees that the party or the country will come out stronger, more conservative or better positioned to win elections against the incumbent liberals.

On September 30, 2007, Franken, speaking in St. Paul, MN, told an audience, “I’m a corporation . . . .  I love corporations that play by the rules and we have to make them play by the rules.” No reporter has yet asked Al Franken if he intends to start practicing what he preaches.

Whoops, forgot to remove the last part…

Have to remember to check things before cutting & pasting…

I agree goon.  But you never know in the people’s republic of minnesota.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

OK, living just south of Liberapolis, I’d have to say that even if Franken went and committed mass murder and admitted it on national TV, there would still be people here rallying for him. And up against Norm Coleman (Democat-lite), Franken would still pull more votes in the Twin Cities core than Coleman would.

There are people I’ve seen who can’t understand why Franken’s taxes was an issue or why it was even brought up, except that it’s probably a Republican plot against Socialism.
