An honest mistake?  Or a mistake that was honest?

This is not an uncommon “error” over at the FauxNewChannel. I has happened many, many times before.

Honest mistake… I listened to bits and pieces via NRO and I have not been a McCain supporter at all period end of statement, but in listening to what I did and also to former MD Lt Gov Michael Steele’s post-speech analysis, I am beginning to think it won’t be as difficult for me to support him as I thought.. I still need a bit more convincing but I am planning on voting for him with a bit less reservation than I have.

I loved having Ronald Reagan as president, working on both of his campaigns, hearing him speak in person on several occasions and having him be my husband’s commander in chief for 8 years. However I realize that he cannot be resurrected from the dead, much as I’d like for that to be the case, and we have to go with what we have. Not that anyone here at Say Anything feels otherwise, but in general terms it’s too easy to make comparisons against what Reagan was and we just don’t have that.

I feel McCain now is the best person to take on whats-her-face or Obama.. We cannot let either of those two get elected.. The Clinton years were ones I’d rather soon forget. Do we really need another Lincoln bedroom story, Whitewater, Vince Foster, Ron Brown, another Clinton arranging rocks in the shape of a cross at Normandy Beach, ad nausem??? Do we need someone with Obama’s outlook and lack of experience being in charge of our armed forces and the War on Terror?? I thank God every day that George Bush was in office on 9/11 and that when my husband flew combat in Iraqi Freedom he had Bush as his CinC… I think the loonies who did that thought Bush would pull a Clinton or had hoped algore was in office… One of my friends used to joke that if algore had been in office, he’d have sent Osama binLaden a care package and a letter of apology or possibly freaked out. Thank heavens we don’t have to know what would have happened.

Anyway, my overly long point is that we need to thing about rallying behind McCain and make sure we don’t have to look towards a Hillary or Obama presidency… I tend to think Obama may???? be a nicer person than Hillary but I could care less about that--he just cannot be president. At least not now. And his being a person of color has nothing to do with it. He could be purple with pink stripes and it would not matter one whit.. When I think of him or her it’s their political leanings and policies and who supports them… I’d love to vote for a woman for president but she darn well better have some basic beliefs that I do.. Sadly she doesn’t and neither does Obama for that matter..

The Fascist News Channel has done this a number of times. It is completely deliberate, no mistake whatsoever. These fascist mind-control propagandists always have something up their sleeve, and this is no exception.

The Fascist News Channel is the face of evil in America, the Al-Jazeera of the United States, shills for the Republofascists.

Yep, it’s good to have someone ignore a direct terrorist warning and allow 9/11 to happen, probably deliberately. It’s also good to have a “CinC” invite the terrorists to attack our troops by telling them to “bring it on”. It’s also good to have an administration that tells at least 935 lies to get us into a totally senseless, needless, unnecessary war, and then send the troops into harm’s way with inadequate body armor and supplies. It’s always great to have a nice rat infested shithole with leaky plumbing and rotting sheetrock like Walter Reed hospital to go to after your legs and arms have been blown off.

I thank God every day that Bush will be gone in 1 year.

Socialist on February 7, 2008 at 06:49 pm

Funny thing Socialist.  Slick Willy did nothing to stop bin Laden when he was president and said that he immediately knew after 9/11 happened that it was bin Laden behind it.  But thats right, it’s all Bush’s fault!

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

Dang.

The truth slipped out.

Round up the usual suspects.  Dispatch the cleanup crew.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Well, all 935 “lies” were the same “lie”, that Iraq had WMDs. And since I’m really too lazy to argue that you’re full of shit...being wrong =/= lying.

Bush didn’t ignore a direct warning about Iraq, that’s deliberate liberal propeganda/lies.

And Walter Reed was a shithole for quite sometime.

Not like you actually care. It’s the liberal candard: “We are always right and you are always wrong.”

You’re right, he made one up.

We’ve had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with the September 11th.

FauxNewChannel,Fascist News Channel.....

I couldn’t try to make you guys sound any more retarded if I tried. Gee, maybe I ought to throw in a “Hitlery” or “Communist News Network”, etc. since we’re all back in first grade....

And socialist, the main plank of fascism is that the individual is subordinate to the state. Now, which is the party of “rugged individualism,” and which current party has politicians out crying about how the “common good” should be put above the needs of the individual(we won’t even get into their talk about nationalizing profits). That’s why talking-points always screw you guys up, you don’t know the meaning of the shit you talk, and you just end up looking even more retarded.

Why is McCain considered a Dem to you guys?  This makes no sense to me.

He was for the war and supported the surge and always thought the troop levels were too low, while Romney was just fine with the initial approach.

Romney is the only guy cut and running.  He didint back down from a fight when all odds were against him, while Romney cut and ran when chips were slightly down.

Romney still had a fight to finish, but he backed out, probably to save his own personal wealth.  He certainly didn’t rush out to support McCain after his announcement to cut and run.

Romney was for the right to choose, before he was against it.  He had numerous liberal positions and somehow McCain takes all of criticism?  This makes no sense.

But I have a feeling this is more of an emotional criticism than a logical one.

I hope you are aware of what irony is.

Im aware Robert, thats why I said it.  Because you claim Liberals make emotional decisions, when clearly it is the Repubs who are the party of emotions on this instance.

You feel really swell about phony Romney because he makes you feel the right way, instead of feeling peachy about phony McCain.

Hannitized on February 8, 2008 at 11:59 am

You feel really swell about phony Romney because he makes you feel the right way, instead of feeling peachy about phony McCain.

Absolutely wrong.  The objections to both have to do with their positions on the issues, whereas the support for both Dems is based on hero worship and “charisma”, since neither of them will tell the truth about their socialist agenda.
