Fourteen Out Of The Top Sixteen Political Contributors In Last 25 Years Gave To Democrats

The narratives we, the public, are usually treated to about politics in America has it that Republicans are the party of the rich and priviliged, the party of “big business,” while Democrats are the party of the people and small businesses.

But that’s not true when you consider that most of the top money sources in American politics from 1989 to the present (via Zero Hedge) gave overwhelmingly to Democrats. In fact, of the top 16 organizations, 14 gave most of their money to Democrats (see image below).

Also, the nature of these organizations aren’t quite what you’d expect. Yes, some of the big corporations are there, but 11 of the 16 top-giving groups are labor unions.

Consider the narrative exploded. If Republicans are the party of big business and the wealthy, Democrats are the party of bigger money and big labor.

    Yet they claim to be the party for the working man. They parrot the meme, good union jobs. They don’t understand economics but only like one spoke in the wheel that goes round and right by them. They vote for the person with the D following their name and nothing more. It’s what sheeple do.
