There is an old kids’ saying,

Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But names will never hurt me.

With first gun control, and now knife control… can anyone doubt that sooner or later sticks will be next?

Meanwhile, at the other end of the scale, we have “Human Rights Commissions” and hate speech legislation to eliminate even the “names” part.

And pretty soon, before we know it, the only form of confrontation, contention, or disagreement allowed will be between the state and those few individuals who still refuse to obey.
