For The First Time Since 1995 Majority Of Americans Describing Themselves As “Pro-Life”

Which is hardly in line with the idea that America is moving toward the left.

A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, finds 51% of Americans calling themselves “pro-life” on the issue of abortion and 42% “pro-choice.” This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.

Paul Ibrahim notes that this trend is actually being driven not by the religious, but by the number of non-religions Americans who are moving to the pro-life side of the debate:

Contrary to the usual media story, pro-life support is not exclusive to Christians – support for the pro-life position has risen to 31% among non-Christians from 20% two years ago

We’re moving in the right direction on this issue. Obama may want to weigh this when considering who to put on the Supreme Court next. I don’t think there’s any doubt that whoever he picks will be pro-choice and pro-Roe vs. Wade, but that could make him unpopular with a public that is already becoming more and more suspicious of him.

The Democrats have done all they can to import as many poor people as possible from 3rd world countries, and make them citizens as quickly and effortlessly as possible. A friend of mine recently became a citizen, and only had to answer six questions to pass. Some of the people taking the test with him were allowed translators. This was done to create new pro-social-program voters.

Unfortunately for the gender feminists, most of the poor people the Democrats have importated and made citizens are leftists when it comes to government spending, but traditionalists when it comes to issues of homosexuality and abortion. They vote for Democrats to protect their Medical and Section 8 housing vouchers, but they are strongly anti-abortion.

jp: the abortion issue isn’t about God; it’s about killing innocent human beings, and financing it with taxpayer money. The entire abortion movement is simply eugenics with a different name; the reason they made it a “right” was to be able to confiscate taxpayer money to continue the eugenics policy of reducing the poor/minority population with free abortions. You should study up on history, starting with Margaret Sanger.
