Food Stamp Trafficking Is Popular On Twitter

Democrats are crying foul over proposed cuts to the food stamps program, but it’s clear from the sort of trafficking that’s going on on Twitter that there’s an excess of benefits being doled out.

I don’t think people who are starving to death would resort to selling their food stamps. Plus, for obvious reasons, the practice is illegal. If you can sell your food stamps, you really shouldn’t be on food stamps in the first place.

The food stamps program is rife with fraud and abuse, but instead of reforming the system we’re going to have a debate about why Republicans want poor people to starve to death. Because that’s the talking point Democrats are pushing.
