Duringn the Mel Reynolds non coverage the media endlessly repeated Bob Packwood’s dirty laundry.

I think the Grand Forks Herald only covered the Mel Reynolds in one story.  That day (if I recall right, it might have been the same week) they had a front page story of Packwood.  They pointed out at least four times on the front page alone he was a Republican.

Meanwhile Mel Reynolds was buried inside the paper and you had to read nearly the entire story before you found out he was a Democrat.
