Five Republicans Now On Board With Filibuster Of Auto Bailout

Heartening news from Michelle Malkin:

At noon Eastern today, five true maverick Republicans will announce their support of a UAW bailout filibuster in Washington.
Senate sources tell me GOP Sens. Shelby, Ensign, and DeMint (as I noted yesterday) will be joined at the press conference by Sens. Vitter and Coburn. Our own Gang of Five! Loins fully girded.

Huzzah for these gentleman as they’re doing the wrong thing, but Paul Ibrahim notes that it’s a little disappointing that only five Senate Republicans are on board:

What’s going on with the rest? How are Republicans supposed to take back Congress if they act like Democrats? The Democrats will always be better at being Democrats – there is no point in imitating them.
The Republican Party needs a shakeup as much as Congress needs a shakeup.
