Feel Good Moment Of The Day – Students At UW Run Off The Westboro Church Idiots

And in fine style, too.
The Westboro morons, to whom nothing is sacred, were there were there to protest – or actually celebrate – the tragic deaths of three student who had died in a fire. Apparently they blame all tragedies on the fact that God hates fags (their words, not mine) these days. And the UW students were having none of it.
Watch as the Westboro fools tuck tail and run away 15 minutes into their scheduled protest.
Good for the students at UW.

    Thank you for posting this. As a Christian I am offended that they dare to claim the name of Christ. This is patently and totally ridiculous, is offensive and whatever else you want to call it. Don’t they have anything better to do with their time? Why not use that energy and donate their time to helping those in need such as with soup kitchens, used clothing closets, food donations, etc…. It certainly would be more honoring to the Lord if you ask me.

    I am a Christian I don’t agree with homosexuality and that lifestyle but what these people are doing is completely wrong. These people make me sick and I am offended that they do this in the name of “Christ.”

    There are many here at SA who would agree with you, myself included.

    It’s the sheer meanness of the Westboro people that bewilders me. The vety meaning of Christianity is in its humanity. Those people are in violation of every principle Christ espoused.

    And understand this…I an NOT by any means a religious fundamentalist.

    What stands out to me is the fact that the phelpsites, with the exception of one female, had their faces covered. Rather a change from their old, stand proud be loud methods of a couple of years ago.
