Fawning ABC Reporter: Obama Is Senator Bad Ass!

Good grief.

Obama is “bad ass?” What’s he done to be bad ass, put on a pair of sunglasses?  Choppered around a war zone that’s only been made safe for his presence by the hard work of a General and troops who implemented a strategy Obama himself opposed (though he doesn’t want you to remember his opposition now)?

Please.  John McCain spent five years getting tortured by Vietnamese socialists.

McCain may be old, and not exactly the candidate I want running for President as a Republican, but he’s 10 times the bad ass Obama will ever be with or without sunglasses.

Having seen what Jake Tapper has written in the past about Obama, I think the caption is meant as satire.

Given that we are only now allowed to joke about Obama, I understand how some could be confused.

Because he drove a Chrysler 300 gangstamobile...oh, wait, when he started raving against V8s, he got rid of that in favor of a hybrid.  Oops.

Trust me, Jake Tapper is not in the tank for Obama.

Tapper has broken several Obama gaffes, with apparent glee.

Check you definition of “bad-ass”.  McCain may have been bad-ass back in the day, but this is a different day.  However, I’m sure he’s always regretted not having been tortured by good right-wing goons instead of socialists.

Huh! McCain’s mother could take Obama in a fair fight!

He should have put sarc off/ after that so everyone would know sarc off/ It was obvious he was mocking. Good for him. Hagel and Reed must feel like the Supremes behind Diana Ross.

Yeah:
Such courage as McCain displayed in Hanoi, his endurance of incredible pain and his unquestioned honor under the worst of circumstances are matters of inner character, this kind of courage does not fade with time like pimples. I don’t agree with many policies of McCain as Senator; but let me ask you this about Obama, when did he ever risk his life or risk anything selflessly on behalf of anyone? Where can you look in his life and say, without him this or that person would not be alive today? What has he ever risked for anyone or anything?

Absent risk under fire, not just in war or by guns, there is absolutely no way you or anyone can honestly say Obama has any personal courage at all, or can be counted to stand immovable on any core principle that might cost him something. In fact, it appears he has no core values and blows about with the wind when under fire, as in the case of Wright or his grandmother that he turned against when it looked like they might hurt his chances for the White House. So far, I see not the tiniest sign that he possesses any personal courage of any kind.

No matter the age or state of health, for a military man it is always glorious to tilt at windmills, rescue a fair Dulcinea and be a gallant knight in armor in a glorious cause.

Thinking about Mccain today, I wanted to add this: While the courage displayed by McCain under unimaginable torture for years was extraordinary, when in such intense pain, with little hope it will ever end, human temptatiuon is to lie down, try and sleep to escape the terror by day and night and never get up. But, McCain had even greater courage, he got up and not only fought to live but he aided and encouraged other POW’s to not give up. Now please tell me what Barak has done to compare with that?

BHO isn’t tough compared to McCain. More media fawning and trying to win an election.
