This is a well-written fabulous book. We should be proud to have an author with his terrific connections in our community.

Your good friend Scott Hennen ! be careful of the horse you attach your wagon to. Every distasteful aspect of politics is the carrot that Hennen reaches for. Every one agrees today that political commentary is as ugly (Paul Simon) as it has ever been , but Hennen is of the mind that if he dresses up in the most gaudy ‘patriotic’ costumes, then he has PERSONALLY elevated himself to a higher standard. But he hasn’t , he only engages in much of the phoniness that he himself finds distasteful in others.

and you want examples! A few years ago I  asked Hennen to bring his show out ‘here’ to meet and greet the local citizens and get ‘our’ opinion of the war , the farm economy, the flooding , etc etc etc . I did so because the “other’ loud mouth arrogant blowhard  ,Schutz, did it and did it MANY times. KFGO has the traveling cruiser and visited various parts of the state ,dozens in fact. To get to the point, Bingo, Mr ‘you are so proud of with the terrific connections’ told me to get lost ( a polite version). He would’t do it , unless he was in a situation where HE had total control and a FRIENDLY audience . He was rude overbearing and typically elusive as I told him about the real issues ‘out here’. He instead changed the focus to the then candidate Kerry’s war record that the swift boaters were making into the fictional story he found more comfortable with.
inotherwords , he wouldn’t come out here because his feeding tube that connects him to the GOP noise machine.
