Fargo Mom Wants To Shame Trick Or Treating Fat Kids With A Letter Telling Parents To “Step Up”

Update: Looks like it was a hoax by the radio station.

According to Fargo-area radio station Y94, a Fargo-area mother wants to distribute these letters to trick or treaters she thinks are too fat (see below).

Unfortunately, the letter doesn’t have an address to aid in helping to avoid this killjoy’s home.

Not that there’s anything necessarily wrong with her message. Most of us could probably make healthier choices when it comes to our diets. But it’s a little presumptuous for someone to appoint themselves the arbiter of who does and does not get Halloween candy.

Plus, if you really want to spread a message about healthier living, does it help to wound people with that message?

How would you like to be the kid who got singled out by some stranger as being too fat to get Halloween candy?
