Exile

I was just listening to the Sean Hannity show and thinking about how dumb the Paris Hilton callers and Sean sounded in the discussion.

Then I realized that I did have a few comments on the matter on some other threads.

I feel shame.

I’m taking a few days off to rejuvenate my intellect.

Might take more than a few days, don’t you think?

OK Mr Whistler, would you care to enlighten us on what you thought was so dumb about them discussing the Miss Hilton issue? Or, were you insinuating that all discussions on that topic are classifiable as dumb?

Rejuvinate? There are enough here that think, perhaps, you’re juvenile enough! Any possibility of getting adulterated?

A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)

You know, you should consider Paris Hilton for a cabinet post.

Like, Secretary of Whoopee or something.

Or a hitching post!

Whistlet: You cannot just take off in the middle of your campaign! Unless it is on a boat with a cutie!

Proof: The “Monkey Business” reference means you are much more than the King on Punsters! I suspected that would get by most of the youngsters posting here!

When I was a youngin’, we had to walk to school ten miles backwards in the snow, barefoot!

Ken McCracken on June 8, 2007 at 04:23 pm

And we LIKED it!

A man has to be what he is, Proof. You can’t break the mold. I tried it and it didn’t work for me.

That comment tends to age a person also (:

My grandaddy used to tell us how he walked 5 miles to school and 10 miles back. I always wondered what he did on the way home??? HA!

Zsa Zsa on June 8, 2007 at 04:28 pm

Ken McCracken: I rode 5-miles on a horse or sometimes in my dad’s pickup truck when it rained or snowed too hard, after I did my chores for course, does that count? Oh, and honest to God it was to a one room school house in Meridian, Idaho. But, we had shoes, wore’em too, and we often smelled like wet cows or Alfalfa during harvest. I am an official old geezer!

Proof: If you really love and LIKE your grandfather, you will choose to believe him, even if you think the story might have undergone extensive renovation over time! I believe him, even about the two way hill, you see he took one road to school and another home and both roads went uphill!

I walked two miles each way.  One answer could have been a ferry, darkness, danger, or tolls.

For a moment I thought the Chief said “trolls”...tolls would be more logical.

Speaking of Paris, have we heard what her medical issues were?

His sisters said he and my Uncle Fred would gamble on the railroad tracks while they did chores. That is probably why it was a long road home???
