Even On Last Days Of Election, Media Still In The Bag For The Democrats

Sheesh…

A smooth ride?  In which dimension?  Because in reality, the election doesn’t seem to be going all that smoothly for the Democrats.

In the last three generic polls by ABC News/Washington Post, Pew and Gallup the Democrats have seen their lead drop by 8 points, 7 points and 7 points, respectively.  That’s a huge shift in momentum right before an election.

Plus, looking at the polls for individual House and Senate races there are a lot of toss-ups out there.  So many polls are within the margin of error that there is no other conclusion to draw then the fact that this election is a dead heat.

Personally, I still think Democrats are going to gain some ground but not re-take either house of Congress, but for anyone to say that the Dems are going to ride to election day victory “smoothly” is just plain nonsense.

The idea that Democrats will be sailing to election day victory is a media myth.  This is a close election.

Go out and vote your conscience, Americans.
