Even in the Arab World, Good Help is Hard to Find

Apparently, some folks just don’t know their place!  From Fox News and the wire service that dislikes being quoted:

The son of Libyan dictator Qaddafi, and his pregnant wife, have been arrested by Swiss authorities on charges of beating two of their “domestic servants.” The young Qaddafi spent the past two nights in jail.  His wife was transferred to a maternity unit.

The pair are accused of beating the “servants” with a belt and a hanger.  A Tunisian woman was hospitalized with her injuries.

According to the Swiss daily, Tribune de Geneve, the beatings took place at the ultra-luxurious President Wilson Hotel in Geneva… right next door to the United Nations human rights office.

The young Qaddafi’s first name, ironically enough, is Hannibal.

Does he like fava beans and a nice chianti?

A hardship of travel.
In Libya they have staff
to beat the servants.

The Swiss best arraign asylum
for the servants. cause the
beatings they get in Libya
will make the last beatings
seem like a trip to Disney land.

Hah! What’s the world coming to when you have to beat your own servants?

The local “Servant-Beaters-R-Us” must not have had anyone available.

There is only one way the Libyan people can right this wrong,

they must elect a Tunisian as President of Libya!

And it does not matter how unqualified for the job of President that Tunisian is, they must elect him to right this terrible wrong!

What?

If it is good for Obama and slavery then ...

Geneva is a funny town.

It seems to be such a clean, tony and very high-cost place to live, especially near the harbor and up in the old quarter, yet the buses and trams seem filled with all sorts of middle and lower-income types, many, evidently, from Third World nations.

I suspect a lot of the money in those banks that line the Genfersee / Lac Leman is tainted in the manner of expropriated monies from the victims of the Third Reich into Swiss Francs and Kruegerrands, Arab petrobucks, Soviet rubles and Chinese yuan and all the development funds filtered through the U.N. into the private accounts of petty tyrants the likes of Hannibal Qaddafi.

And they say money doesn’t stink.

...for great justice
