I suspect these Eurocrats are probably the same ones who look down upon us redneck, warmongering Americans.  I noticed the one politician who ran away into “the lift” (elevator) was a member of the Green Party.  It is ironic that within a timespan of 30-some-years, we managed to bail them out twice from world war and give them the peace they so much enjoy but maybe not appreciate.
