Edwards Campaign Continues To Deny That Cancer Announcement Was A Publicity Stunt

Meanwhile donations to the Edwards campaign since the announcement six days ago are about 50% of what the campaign took in during the previous three months.

Next week the Edwards family dog Scrappy gets put to sleep and one of the kids gets lost on the estate triggering an Amber Alert.  Just to, you know, keep the momentum going.

I’m sue they planned his wife’s cancer to help the campaign.  And Tony Snow is just a copycat to get sympathy for the President.  These politicians can’t get any lower than planning personal misery for political gain, unless they are idiot partisan bloggers who state that is what they are doing.

I hope they both get better.

Newt and Rudy each with 3 wives have positioned themselves to rake in the cash with possible triple cancer announcements.

Romney has researchers from the Church of LDS studying the vast polygamous past for fatal diseases.

There remains the possibility that Rudy’s cousin/first wife and Romney are kin. That might muddy the cancer campaign contribution waters.

To date no one has publicly accused
Bill or Hillary Clinton as causing any candidates’ wives’ cancer or Michael J Fox’s Parkinson disase.

We await word from North Dakota.

Yeah, five years ago my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer; but now you’ve got me re-thinking that episode of my family’s life.

She’s a liberal too, and as we all know ‘The Left™’ always lies.

I’m sure she just did that so people would say nice things about her.

Whatever

Y’all keep this memo going throughout the pajamas media, I’m sure a lot of people are sympathetic to the notion that people should be as cowards when confronting life-threatening illnesses.

It will be a big hit, I tells ya.

Many women who took Premarin have had breast cancer. I hate cancer! It is up to the Edwards to do what they feel they need to do.  Especially when he doesn’t have a real chance of winning???

Interesting hypothesis, but how do we prove it?  Yes, compassion’s a great way to get donations, but as long as Mrs. Edwards gets treatment--and dollars to donuts there will be pictures on Edwards’ website--alleging such cynical motives is pretty obnoxious, don’t you think?

Ya, BUT I sure wouldn’t want to kill anyone!

Actually Romney’s wife has MS.

Ehh, I think you better just leave this one alone, Rob. It wouldn’t surprise me if Edwards uses this for political gain. But with a major absence of proof, it just comes off as insensitive.

Damn how low can a right wing blogger get?
Shame on anyone that spreads unsubstantiated rumors.

I wonder what the percent is these days. The fifty one seems an unreasonable one, but I think that putting it here makes the judgment fair.
