Ed Schultz Still Calling McCain A Warmonger

Apparently trying to fill the gap that Randi Rhoades left on the lunatic fringe of liberal talk radio, Ed Schultz maintains that John McCain is, in fact, a warmonger even after Obama disavowed these comments.

He said as much this morning on CNN’s American Morning.

What’s more, North Dakota Democrats are still inexplicably siding with Schultz.  Down with the ship, I guess.

Internally, though, I’ve got to think that the Democrats are ticked at Schultz for allowing their big event (two Presidential candidates visiting North Dakota is no small feat) to devolve into a controversy over a petty, small-minded insult.

is it just me, or does anyone else think the democrats live for two things.

1 being greatly offended about something

2 trying as hard as they possibly can to offend a republican

Rob,

Your conclusion here assumes that the Democrats are smart enough to recognize what has happened and astute enough to be offended by Schultz’ stupid, thuggish behavior.  Neither assumption is likely to be true.  After all, which party was it that attracted the support of the idiot Schultz in the first place?

Schultzie is a political slut who will say and do anything to get his mug T.V. airtime and add a few more listeners to his ranting slobberfest he calls a “radio show”.

Ed Schultz is just a chickenhawk.

Schulz used to do the UND football games.  He was terrible.  (And that was when I thought he was *still* a conservative.)

His radio show was awful as well.

On the other hand he did hit a truth the other day.  I was out of town looking for Rush.  I heard him for a moment.  He said “when was the last time the Republican’s identified a wasteful or unneeded program.”

Out of the mouths of idiots.  That’s the problem with the Republican party today.

Of course the Dems are much worse…

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Oh, for heaven’s sake people—doesn’t anybody own a dictionary?  MONGER means “a person who promotes a specific activity.” Look it up!

Ed Schultz called like he saw it, and he was accurate.  John McCain IS A WARMONGER!!!

snoozingscott: If you claim to have a dictionary, then you have no excuse.

Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1)
mon·ger
1.  a person who is involved with something in a petty or contemptible way (usually used in combination): a gossipmonger.
2.  Chiefly British. a dealer in or trader of a commodity (usually used in combination): fishmonger.
–verb (used with object)
3.  to sell; hawk.

Let me quote you the words of a man who is no warmonger. It’s in English, snooze, so I expect you to have trouble following!

Unless you are a veteran you might find it odd that I would be indebted to the Navy for sending me to war. You might mistakenly conclude that the secret veterans’ share is that they enjoyed war.

We do share a secret, but it is not a romantic remembrance of war. War is awful. When nations seek to resolve their differences by force of arms, a million tragedies ensue. Nothing, not the valor with which it is fought nor the nobility of the cause it serves, can glorify war. War is wretched beyond description. Whatever gains are secured by war, it is loss that the veteran remembers. Only a fool or a fraud sentimentalizes the cruel and merciless reality of war.

Neither do we share a nostalgia for the exhilaration of combat. That exhilaration, after all, is really the sensation of choking back fear. I think we are all proud to have once overcome the paralysis of terror. But few of us are so removed from the memory of that terror to mistake it today for a welcome thrill.

-John McCain

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

Worst apologist ever.  We all know what Ed said and it’s going to take a better effort that snoozscott’s to make up for it.

Tell me snooze, what kind of moron mistakes words like these for those of someone “hawking” a war?

Oh, and the ”petty and contemptible” part? Fits you and your ilk pretty well, snooze!

Thanks for reminding me why I don’t usually participate in these blogs.  Mindless idiots who cannot spell.  Get a hobby.  I’m going back to work for the good of this once-proud country.  And I pray John WARMONGER McSame doesn’t get elected.  If he does, however, you all deserve the consequences.  Enjoy yourselves—I’ll not be back.  Disgusting.

That’s right, run away.  You’ve got to be able to debate to make it around here.

Thanks for signing your name to your mindless hit piece!

Thanks for reminding me why I don’t usually participate in these blogs.

If that’s all it takes, glad we could be of help! But, if you ever want to come back, and deal with the truth in a rational fashion, the door is open!

Mindless idiots who cannot spell.

You don’t recognize the word, so you assume it’s misspelled? snooze, if you were a mindless idiot that could spell, your arguments would still smell!
