Ed Schultz Mentions North Dakota’s Take Back Washington Rally
You gotta live how Ed Schultz derisively refers to “Bismarck, ND” when he mentions Michelle Bachmann’s appearance at the event (which, by the way, you can register for here), as if the state wasn’t where he got his start. It’s a pretty arrogant jab at his home state.
Maybe he thinks nobody from North Dakota watches. Then again, nobody really watches Schultz’s show. Except for me. And I only do it so that you don’t have to.

The thesis of this segment, that the tea party movement has become a liability for Republicans, actually almost comes off as if it were a comedy skit. Who are these liberals trying to convince of this? Us? Or themselves?
The tea party movement can, of course, be a liability to Republicans. But only if Republicans don’t listen. But in general it is a popular uprising against government that has grown too big, too expensive and too arrogant in wielding its power. That this uprising scares the bejesus out of liberals like Schultz and his guest is hardly surprising, nor is their hateful reaction to it.
But notice I didn’t refer to their reaction as dismissive. They haven’t dismissed the tea parties. They tried to when the movement first erupted, but here we are nearly a year later…and they’re still talking about us.
Because they hate what they’re afraid of. Tags: Asshats, Domestic Issues, Politics
