Ed Schultz Blows A Gasket After A Caller Compares Him To Rush Limbaugh

I’ve listened to Rush Limbaugh. I grew up listening to Rush Limbaugh. And friends, Ed Schultz isn’t fit to vacuum Limbaugh’s studio.

CALLER : You know, I listen to you talk about Rush Limbaugh and how awful he is. You’re becoming him, Ed. You’ve got to become …
SCHULTZ: Now, you’re, you’re, you’re way over the top now. That is a personal shot. I am not a drug addict, you bastard.
CALLER: Sounds like you’re drinking.
SCHULTZ: And how dare you call me that.
CALLER: It sounds like you’re drinking.
SCHULTZ: And how dare you call me that …
CALLER: I didn’t call you a drug addict …
SCHULTZ: How dare you, how dare you put me in what that scumbag who is a liar. I’m not a liar. Let me tell you, John, I am not a liar.
CALLER: Oh, I believe that you’re not a liar …

For all of Schultz’s self-righteousness at Limbaugh’s struggles with drug addiction, at least Limbaugh has never gotten drunk and punched a woman in a bar.
The funny thing is, as childish as Schultz is, these little tirades are probably the centerpiece of his career now. I don’t think people so much tune in to Ed Schultz to hear brilliant political analysis as they tune in on the off chance that he might blow his top again and provide a few moments of extreme unintentional comedy.
Remember how, in the age before YouTube, they used to sell those videos of car crashes and animal attacks on television commercials? If somebody put together a video collection of all the times Ed Schultz has lost it I’d be the first in line to buy. Because I think that’s Schultz’s value to society at large.
He’s a car wreck that can be entertaining to watch at times.

Like most liberals isn’t the problem he doesn’t know how childish he really is. By now, near everyone understands to liberals logical rational thinking is something they avoid,

Ed Schultz isn’t fit to sniff Rush Limbaughs underwear. Keep blowing up Ed you sound like a big cry baby.

Like all rigid ideologues, Schultz really believes that everyone who disagrees with him is wrong, no matter what they actually say. It’s not about the facts or having a real discussion, it’s about destroying everyone who questions his ideology. Notice that he immediately distracted by mentioning drug use, which wasn’t the topic, and how he responded to something the caller didn’t say, which was that he was a liar.
    Guilty conscience.

Oh be still my laughing hysterically heart!

Big 180, all that needs to be done with that quote is change the proper noun and you have described yourself better than anyone else could ever have done.

    Good job!

    You’re a pip!

(cue Big 180′s set response about laughing at him)

While your obsession with me is “charming”(although extremely creepy), you continue to project your ideological distortion on others.
I don’t act from ideology, but from moral principles, which is why I always invite you rigid ideologues to make valid arguments for your positions. When you rigid ideogues devolve into personal attack, you reveal your rigid adherence to your ideology, which prevents you from being able to think.

Folks, remember at on time Ed was the second coming of Rush Limbaugh & a big fan of Rush. That was until he sold out to the dark side for the big bucks. He’s politics changed literally over night. The man has no credibility cuz your core believes do not change over night. He just like our senators he has property here in North Dakota but has not lived here in quite a while.

CALLER: It sounds like you’re drinking.

Ed Schultz is a baffoon and changes his stripes when ever it can make him more money. Was the voice of the Bison football team then the voice of the Sioux Football team. I think he also did Sioux hockey. First he was a GOPer then he was a dem. Big joke, no credibility.

Excellent observation of the old straw man fallacy.

When is Ed not blowing a gasket nowadays? His “spazziness” is what made me love it when he did UND football, but otherwise I can’t tolerate listening to him, because I can’t stand to listen to anybody who can’t have a conversation w/o screaming, left, right or center

  • The real “one”

Ed and Al Franken are just a comedy act. What is scary is when people think they actulaly have something of substance to bring to the intelectual table.
