Ed Schultz Admits He Used Congressional Staffers Posing As Fake Callers On His Radio Show

Ed Schultz Crazy Eyes

Keep in mind that Schultz’s national radio show was launched by fundraising done by members of Congress like Senators Byron Dorgan and Dick Gephardt, so would we really be surprised that Schultz had Democrat staffers calling in to his show posing as listening members of the public at large?

Now, nobody would ever accuse of being objective, but I think there is a line that even opinion commentators can cross when it comes to collusion with politicians. That Schultz’s radio show was started on the back of fundraising done by politicians, and the fact that he admits to collusion with their staffs to generate the appearance of a lively call-in audience, crosses that line I think.

I’ve done a fair bit of talk radio, and it’s certainly not anything I’d do.
