Most economists without an agenda stick to the long time traditional academic definitions of recession as two quarters of negative growth and full employment as 6% unemployment.  Now the MSM blesses the definition of leftists that recession is whatever they say it is and alarms the public with its pronouncements.  And there is no bias in the MSM?
