It’s dropped to $200,000 and it’s not even election day! What might it be by the time he’s inaugurated? See update. I’ve got $150K…do I hear $100?

hawkie, this quote has nothing to do with Barri. Try again.

Why would I care. The quote isn’t instructive of anything other than Lenin’s view on the effect of the debauchery of money. The author agrees in the results if you debauch currency, but it doesn’t mean that the author believes you should debauch currency. For all you could tell from this quote, the author is against debauching currency.

It is just a random quote taken out of context.

Hate to break it to ya, but its $125K for married individuals. 250K is for Married Couples. 200K is for individuals. Not only another Obama lie but a new marriage penalty to boot.

First….he can not do all that he is saying. They all say this crap to look good. Then they look at the books and oops….we cannot afford to give ALL 95% of you a tax break. So that will be lowered. Then to afford what he wants…ever other freakin tax they can think of will be raised. Federal gas tax, Alternative minimum tax, capital gains tax, estate tax, excise tax, unemployment tax, fica tax, gift tax, irs penalities, luxury tax, real estate tax, RV tax and others that I did not list. Plus others they will probably start to pay for the HELP they are giving us. Good old Ronnie is right again. The most frighting sentence in the english language is “I’m from the Government and I am here to help”. So, with the addition of raising the tax on the rich who will then make it more expensive for me to use their services. Add the increase in all of the other taxes. Good old Barry has screwed us royal. And all of the dems are walking around like they did something great….

  • Lestat

I believe this is the same thing as he has said all along. If you make less than $200k you get a tax cut, if you make more than $250k your taxes will be raised and if you are between the two your taxes will remain the same.

“Lenin was right. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.”

Where in this quote does Obama say that his goal is to overturn society or to debauch the currency? You realize that you can actually understand how to destroy something without actually wanting to destroy it. In fact it likely makes you more competent in preventing its destruction. It may be nice to have a President who actually understand history for a change.

  • 2Hotel9

You are correct, lestupid, Barri has said that 95% of Americans will get their taxes massively raised.

  • http://ndgoon.blogspot.com/ goon

This whole tax cut thing is a ruse, it is a redistribution of wealth but yet the left led by NOBAMA head propaganda spinner Bill Burton are out there trying to decieve the American people that this is a tax cut. It is a LIE. EVERYONE is going to have their taxes raised under BHO.

  • 2Hotel9

Here you go, lestupid, ponder this quote from one of your heroes and see if you can figure out which one it comes from.

“Lenin was right. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.”

    Bon apetite’!

    Lestat,

You seem to regard yourself as a pretty smart guy, so please explain how Obama is going to cut the taxes of the 45% of Americans who currently don’t pay taxes.

Barack Obama is either the biggest liar since Bill Clinton, or the most arithmetically challenged candidate ever.

The real question is why not depend on the Govt? Let the Govt rescue you. Obama says it with such a soothing voice. Redistribute the wealth and those who don’t work will be rewarded. Aaaaaah! what a nice man. He is going to make sure the hard working people of the USA will be pick pocketed by the US Govt. All that hard work they have been doing for their own families will be given to those who don’t work? Big Govt. should never be confused with Charity. Govt. is the problem and NOT the Solution!!!!!

Why don’t you actually read the tax proposal on the website and analyst figures instead of silly infomercials:

Per the Tax Policy Center, here is how Obama’s tax plan breaks down for individuals:

    $0-$18,891 = $567 tax cut
    $18,982-$37,595 = $892 tax cut
    $37,596-$66,354 = $1,118 tax cut
    $66,355-$111,645 = $1,264 tax cut
    $111,646-$160,972 = $2,135 tax cut
    $160,973-$226,918 = $2,796 tax cut
    $226,919-$603,402 = $121 tax increase
    $603,403-$2.87 million = $93,709 tax increase
    $2.87 million-plus = $542,882 tax increase

“Education to help children compete”? People need to look at what Barri’s “education” has done to the children of Chicago and Illinois, and ask if that is the change they want.

My favoritest part is how Barri and his socialist fellow travelers in the Democrat Party refuse to admit all these economic “crisis” began after they assumed their majority in Congress.

Wall Street and the global markets are running scared from this guy. He alone could trigger a world wide depression.

“I worked harder than I ever did before to try to give you a tax cut.”

Or something like that when he broke his promise.

    Prepare for “Ground Hog Day.”

On Sept. 8,1992, Bill Clinton said, “The only people who will pay more income taxes are the wealthiest 2 percent, those living in households making over $200,000 a year.”

In response to a Bush-Quayle ad that people with incomes of as little as $36,000 would pay more taxes under the Clinton plan, Bill Clinton said on Oct. 1, 1992, “It’s a disgrace to the American people that the president (Bush) of the United States would make a claim that is so baseless, that is so without foundation, so shameless in its attempt to get votes under false pretenses.”

Yet the NY TIMES in the analysis of Clinton’s budget wrote, “There are tax increases for every family making more than $20,000 a year!”

“While Clinton continued to defend his middle-class tax cut publicly, he privately expressed the view to his advisers that it was intellectually dishonest.” (The Agenda, by Bob Woodward, p. 31)

I HATE the term “give” in reference to tax cuts. They actually mean they are just going to take less of our hard-earned money.

Yikes! Biden had a $150.000 slip of the tongue! It keeps going down and the votes aren’t even in! Uh oh.
