Earl Pomeroy Making Political Contributions At The Direction Of Nancy Pelosi
7:19pm
Back when Earl Pomeroy was North Dakota’s representative in the US House he was fond of posing as a conservative, “independent” Democrat. He wasn’t some party-line liberal, he was a “Blue Dog Democrat.”
Except, when it came down to it, Earl Pomeroy did exactly what the party bosses told him to do up to and including voting for Obamacare over the protests of a majority of his constituents. He was Nancy’s boy, and Pomeroy is still doing what the party bosses tell him, apparently.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is taking sides in the crowded Democratic primary for Ohio’s newly-drawn 3rd district.
Pelosi has contributed $4,000 to former Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy – $2,000 from her personal campaign account, and another $2,000 from PAC to the Future, her political action committee – according to new campaign finance filings made public Thursday. Both donations were made on Feb. 9. …
Kilroy also received donations from Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison and former North Dakota Rep. Earl Pomeroy.
Two of the House’s most liberal Democrats…and Earl Pomeroy, all working together.
Right now Democrat Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp, and House candidate Pam Gulleson, are using the same schtick Pomeroy used. They’re not Democrats, to hear them tell it, so much as independents who want to go and “fix Washington,” etc., etc.
After Pomeroy’s example, can we believe them?
