Dorgan: Obama Should Have Saved The Unpopular, Incumbent-Killing Health Care Bill For Later

Bitter words from a man who himself was chased from a re-election race (at least in part) by staunch opposition to the health care bill.


I definitely think Obama would have been better off not cramming so much government take over into his first year in office. From TARP to the auto bailouts to cap and trade to the stimulus…and then the health care bill.
It was too much all at once. It woke the “sleeping giant” and now Democrats are paying for it.

    Byron knows best and would be still running in 2010 had he listen to the people of North Dakota. Obama won the election; but, he did not carry ND. So, Byron it was important for you to stay on the right side of the fence. Thanks, Byron…with Hoeven we should not have to fight every issue and will know where he stands on issues and has the people of ND in mind when in Washington. Byron, you spend to many years away from the prairie and forgot about the people you were suppose to represent.
