Dirty Hippies Descend On Minneapolis, Make Fools Of Themselves, Return Home

Apparently it was hippie fest over in Minneapolis this weekend (yes, we have them in the upper midwest too). You can see a bunch of pictures of the fools over at Silenced Majority.

These were my favorites:

Glad to see this girl put on donned a burka to show her solidarity with all the Muslim women who just love to wear them. It’s good to support cultural differences right? Even if those differences are enforced by beatings.

What left-wing protest would be complete without an insult to those Americans who choose to serve in the military? Sign up for killing? I’m sure that’s what every single troop was thinking at the recruiter’s office.

And no self-respecting hippie is going to attend a protest where there wasn’t some flat-out hatred for America. And any sort of organized society in general, I guess.

Do these people really think the killing will stop if we pull out of Iraq and leave the country vulnerable to the machinations of Iran, Syria and a myriad of other extremist interests? Was Saddam not murdering tens of thousands of his own citizens every year?

First, she’s wearing a niqab, not a burka. Second… since you don’t even know the difference, are you sure you’re qualified to state that the only reason Islamic women keep the hijab is because they are beaten? This will be a surprise to one helluva lot of Muslim women, that’s for damn sure.

A distinction without a difference.

And maybe she is wearing it because she’s Muslim. Does that make the practice right?
