Did Obama Secure An Earmark For His Wife?

Setting aside Obama’s racist, America-hating reverend for a moment, I think someone should probably take a closer look at this issue:

...in the list of earmarks [Barack Obama] requested, $1 million was requested for the construction of a new hospital pavilion at the University Of Chicago. The request was put in in 2006.

You know who works for the University of Chicago Hospital?

Michelle Obama. She’s vice president of community affairs.

What’s more, just after Barack Obama was elected to the Senate the University of Chicago Hospital gave his wife a 260% raise in her salary.

Guess it was worth it.

The most important thing for the leaders of today should be the people that they will be consequently leading. Their welfare should be the prime most concern. But saddly enogh, they are the first points on the agenda that are disposed off to the last slots.

The next shoe to drop is when the finances of the hospital are reviewed--is the hospital public or not-for-profit--and the pay raise for Michelle?
