Did Obama Say His “Economic Stimulus” Bill Is Part Of The Problem?

Yesterday Obama took a shot at the tea party protesters, but what I found a whole lot more interesting than his petty mischaracterizations of those who disagree with him is what he said about his “economic stimulus” bill. Listen carefully when he says that we shouldn’t pretend as though the “recovery act” (the “stimulus” spending spree) is causing the economic down turn.
Right after that he says it’s “only a fraction of the problem.” Which, to me, is a tacit admission that the spending is a part of the problem.

I’m glad Obama is finally admitting the obvious. The spending spree he’s been on isn’t helping. It’s hurting. Apparently he disagrees with we conservatives on the scope of the problem, but maybe we can finally admit that the government can’t spend the economy back to good health?
Somehow, I doubt it. This was probably just Obama’s “gift” at work again.

Compare Obama’s communication skills, his comforting manner and calm to this video of a “leader” telling us to be afraid and to give him the $700 billion or else we’ll all be poor.

As opposed to Obama saying “give me my money or the whole world collapses”? Thanks, but try again when not so stupid.

obama inherits a $485 billion dollar deficit with 5.5% unemployment and turns it into a $1.5 Trillion dollar deficit with 10% unemployment. His stimulus has not fixed the banks or the auto industry. His next target to destroy will be the coal industry. We need to ask, “why does obama hate America”?

His first 100 days are a failure. HE is the problem.

Please explain how you figure that one, little dino. What metrics do you use, besides economic growth, to define a recession?

Also, explain how the free market produces negative economic consequences, using facts, logic and cause/effect reasoning.

If you can’t explain either one of the above, you are simply parroting what someone else has told you.

Mickey the stem forgets the recession that started in Dec 07 and the economic meltdown that started in March of 08 with the collapse of Bear Stearns followed by the other Wall Street investment houses and the banks.

Of course that was all brought on by decades of fiscal mismanagement by republicans and their free market, deregulatory policies.
