Did Barack Obama Just Disown His Grandmother?

Kathryn Jean Lopez is curious:

Obama has said ‘I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother…’ So did he disown the ‘black community’ and his grandmother today?

Well it certainly sounds like Obama disowned Wright today. Or is trying to, anyway.

What’s been most disturbing about this entire episode is how dishonest Obama has been, from his pretense that he didn’t know about Wright’s radicalism to his excuse now that Wright has somehow become a different person. How insulting that he thinks we’d buy any of this.

I’m beginning to think that Obama has a pretty low opinion of the intelligence of the average American. Either that, or he just hopes we’re not paying very close attention.

    At least the democrats have learned a new trade in the past few days. They can all report to the sewage plant, they can bury everything in a short time. Look at the experience they have gained shoveling s*** for Hussein O. Someone slap them along side of the head and tell them it’s over for Hussein. The only question remaining is, ‘how did Shrillary pull this off’? She whipped them good and then opted to appear on the Bill O show. Gutsy female. More dhimmi comedy on the way, daily.

    I’d like to know why the fact that she is white is at all relevant. Would she be any more or less easy to “disown” because she’s white?

    Good point bat one. This stumbling clearly displays Obama’s lack of experience. I would be very nervous if I was a democrat. That last sentence is kinda scary…
