Did Obama Fly The First Dog Back From Hawaii to Washington DC For A Photo-Op?

Keith Koffler at White House Dossier wonders:

Bo Obama was supposed to be in Hawaii. Instead, he showed up at President Obama’s side Wednesday shopping for treats at Pet Smart

According to Michelle Obama’s press office, the first dog was planning to go to Hawaii with the first lady and the Obama daughters. The Chicago Sun-Times reported that he in fact had gone there. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser quoted an eyewitness who said he had seen the Portuguese Water Dog having his walk.

So what is Bo doing back in Washington shopping at PetSmart?

Either these reports are mistaken, or Bo was told his vacation was over and that he had to return to the White House to keep a lonely president company – and participate in a silly photo op presenting Obama as an average guy who likes to head out to the PetSmart.

If Bo returned from Hawaii, who paid for his flight?

The President and the First Lady haven’t been ashamed to use his-and-her jets to go on vacation in the past, so why not fly the family dog several thousand miles for a photo op?

It’s just other people’s money.

What’s ironic is that the photo-op was supposed to be one of those that show what a Joe Sixpack Obama is. If it turns out he flew his dog part way around the globe to stage it, that’s not exactly an “everyman” moment.

A variation of an old Republican smear .
“Republican critics had circulated a story claiming that Roosevelt had
accidentally left Fala behind while visiting the Aleutian Islands
earlier that year. They went on to accuse the president of sending a
Navy destroyer, at a taxpayer expense of up to $20 million, to go back
    and pick up the dog.”

I heard they first had the plane covered with gold leaf to appeal to the dog’s aesthetic taste.

    It’s typical Obama flimflam.

I flew my dog from California to Hawaii, by himself.  I used my own money, I don’t see why one needs to jump to the conclusion it would be tax payers money who pays for these things when politicians do everyday things.

Obama’s the president, he can never be a regular joe, but he can do regular joe things.

LMFAO — you are truly stupid or drunk, or both.

    • Terry

Is that “regular joe” as in JOE SIXPACK, or as in LIBERAL LARRY??

I really dont think they would fly the stupid dog back special, just for a PetSmart Photo op….That said,  I guess If I was proven otherwise,  I wouldnt be shocked either…  The people on top have a very different  vision of what reality is….  as far as the comment about shipping the dog using his own money.  Politicians,  CEO’s.  And Farmers have a slightly different definition of “Using their own money”  then most other Americans.

I don’t think that’s the question we should be asking.  Does anyone think a wife wouldn’t have her husband with her, no matter what, if that’s what she desired. Perhaps there’s a reason why Michelle wants to be without her husband for this period of time?  And why shouldn’t she have a fling?   She has, perhaps, reached her limits with that dull,  jerk, as we all have.

Maybe Michele feels safer being away from our great POTUS, as many racist Tea Party folk have threatened to assassinate him?

      • Rose

Maybe she just likes being away from him.

      • Stu

Her and her favorite secret service guy don’t need him getting in their way of having a “good time.”

        • Hannitized, Proofs obsession

No, I’m pretty sure its the racists GOP who call the POTUS a Ni$$@# and threaten to assassinate him that causes her to focus on raising her children and being out of harms way while our great POTUS saves our country from the failures of 8yrs of republicanism.

As one of his mentors said,  “who the hell do you think you are?” Considering how disappointed Farakhan is with obama,  it’s more possible that one of his disappointed, disillusioned mentors/backers would have him hit. You really need help if you think that running the country into deep, deep debt, and his job killing policies is saving anything.
Have a happy holiday, you loony toon.

Nice link – and your a liar.
From that link…and RBB points this out even while denying and trying to smear the GOP and Tea Party with this poor attempt at an article.

I am not a member of nor a registered voter with either of the two parties who control government at all levels. I am however a member of the Libertarian Party (constitutional conservative) but I am not loyal to any political party, institution, or business. My only loyalty lies with you because, I am you.

One, he is Libertarian Party, and states it.
Two, he states he is loyal to no party.
Three, No where does it state he is a Tea Party member or GOP.

The author of the article states he is: ” a wannabe Tea Party politician”. But does nothing to show or prove that.

I wanna be rich, but I am not.

With that phrasing there are alot of “wannabe’s”.

Has he been endorsed as a Tea Party candidate?  I have yet to find this evidence.

Did the author poorly get his information from this line? “An enthusiastic supporter of Tea Party pioneer Ron Paul”

If he is a supporter of Ron Paul, I do not see Ron Paul as an sort of Tea party pioneer or even being endorsed by the Tea Party:

Good grief, you guys whine about Rob and facts, and you post this crazy crap.

            The truth is out there.
            I found it.
            Keep looking.

          • sanity

            You found it?
Post it – cause from what I saw, there is no proof or anything to back up the claim he is a “wannabe tea party member” or a racist GOP member s stated above.

What does it serve a man, to give him a fish?

          • sanity

Nice try, but YOU and Hannitized both stated this from the article – the article does not give proof of this, and neither did you – you said you found prof…..then why did you not post it to back up our arguments?

      • Ann

how do you know it’s the tea party?

        • Hannitized, Proofs obsession

Some of the racists who have threatened to kill him have been tea party leaders or candidates.

In short: our president is a small and small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office.”
