Did Lindsay Lohan Do Coke At The White House Correspondent’s Dinner?
The White House Correspondent’s dinner has quickly become a star-studded example of everything that’s wrong with Washington DC. It’s a shining example of our bloated federal government, awash in self-importance and self-indulgence. Excuse me if I don’t see anything amusing in the President yukking it up with Jimmy Kimmel while the nation staggers toward financial collapse.
But even given my low opinion of the festivities, I was still surprised to see Lindsay Lohan was on the invite list. The drug-addled diva hasn’t been famous for anything other than her rampant substance abuse and criminal behavior for years now, but there she was ll dolled up and hanging out with the likes of Barack Obama and Rick Santorum.
And she was, apparently, doing cocaine in the bathroom throughout the evening. She claims she was just smoking, but given her history, I think we can set aside that explanation aside.
So, in summary, the White House Correspondent’s Dinner was an orgy of media and political celebrity, complete with drug use.
Nero fiddled and Rome burned.
