Maybe they will make them out of Carbon-Kevlar now...lol.
Rob,
If any of your readers work for HP, they should forward that little clip along… It’s no doubt already spread like a virus among the troops.
Just a suggestion…

I think the next thing they should do is Dell computers. And after that, Norton Antivirus, who you have to pay for support. And after that, the wireless products that I got, which you have to pay for support after a certain amount of time.
I’m sure I haven’t gotten all my bases covered…
At some point SS, you have to wonder if the problem is the nut behind the wheel.
No. It is certainly not. Dell sent me a brand new computer and the hard drive had an error on it. Dell told me to wipe the hard drive and it happened again and again over many months. I called them every time and it was still under warranty. I can follow instructions. They told me they’d replace my hard drive if it had another problem. The next time it had a problem, the warranty was up.
Norton Antivirus came up with an error message after installing it. Apparently it’s a common thing to have happen. I followed the instructions more than 3 times, and it did not remove the problem. The bot said it would send me an email after an hour was up, and the email was never sent. The problem went away a week later.
The wireless product kept booting me offline, and I updated all the drivers. I called the free service and they made me restart it. Then, they made me change several settings on the wireless product because they thought that WEP was better than WPA. Well, I wanted security, but they kept insisting on something that I didn’t want. Following their directions for WEP screwed it up even more, to the point that one of my computers couldn’t even get online at all.
And there you go, I don’t know why you think I’m stupid…
And trust me on this, if anything is a piece of shit, Dell is. I’ve had plenty of complaints from people who own Dell computers, and I’m never buying one again.
ss: That’s why the market works. You give someone other than Dell your business, and spread the word about your experiences.
