I think Dennis Miller is brilliant. He has a mastery of the language and a talent for simile that is simply unmatched.
He also doesn’t hesitate to call an ass clown an ass clown.
If you get a chance read his collections of rants. They’ll make you laugh out loud – and they’ll make you think.
I don’t mean to get on a rant here, but Deniss Miller sure has mellowed out.

He’s mellow because the commentary he’s making is on normal cable, not the pay medium of HBO. He has more restrictions there.
