Dennis Kucinich Visits Middle Eastern Terror State To Praise It For Accepting Iraq Refugees

And then from there tells the world that he won’t be visiting the troops in Iraq because the war is illegal, and he won’t be gracing the occupation with his presence.

After praising Syria following a meeting in Damascus with President Bashar Assad, Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich declared he will not visit troops in Iraq during his Middle East tour because he considers the American military presence in Iraq to be illegal.
“I feel the United States is engaging in an illegal occupation … I don’t want to bless that occupation with my presence,” Kucinich said in Lebanon, according to the Associated Press. “I will not do it.”
The Ohio congressman accused the Bush administration of destabilizing the Middle East and praised Syria for receiving Iraqi refugees.
“What most people are not aware of is that Syria has taken in more than 1.5 million Iraqi refugees,” Kucinich said, according to the AP. “The Syrian government has actually shown a lot of compassion in keeping its doors open and being a host for so many refugees.”

What’s sad is that you just know Kucinich is saying what a lot of more mainstream Democrat politicians (and even Presidential candidates) are thinking but aren’t about to say out loud.

In a reasonably sane world this guy would be censured on the hill and maybe even charged with treason.

    Jerk.

Congresspersons have been meddling in foreign policy for years and years, an activity that is clearly out of their constitutional authority. Yet congress is the loudest in their protstations that the U.S. has no clear foreign policies. Too many cooks? It is past time that a muzzle is put on these amateur “state crafters”.

Kinda reminds me of Stalin’s Apologist Walter Duranty: The New York Times’s Man in Moscow who dismissed other correspondents’ reports of mass starvation and genocide in the Ukraine in the 1930′s.

He helped Stalin to cover up an extermination campaign that claimed millions of lives and won the Pulitzer for doing it.

And in November, 1937, Neville Chamberlain sent Lord Halifax to meet Adolf Hitler, Joseph Goebbels and Hermann Goering in Germany.

In his diary, Lord Halifax records how he told Hitler: “Although there was much in the Nazi system that profoundly offended British opinion, I was not blind to what he (Hitler) had done for Germany.”

Then On 29th September, 1938, Adolf Hitler,Neville Chamberlain, and Benito Mussolini signed the Munich Agreement which transferred to Germany the Sudetenland.[ Czechoslovakia ]

History repeats itself but we never learn!
