Dems Would Like You To Know: If You’re Skeptical Of Obama’s Award You’re Siding With The Terrorists

I wonder if this will make Nancy Pelosi cry a few tears about the coarsening level of debate:

“The Republican Party has thrown in its lot with the terrorists – the Taliban and Hamas this morning – in criticizing the President for receiving the Nobel Peace prize,” DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse told POLITICO. “Republicans cheered when America failed to land the Olympics and now they are criticizing the President of the United States for receiving the Nobel Peace prize – an award he did not seek but that is nonetheless an honor in which every American can take great pride – unless of course you are the Republican Party.
“The 2009 version of the Republican Party has no boundaries, has no shame and has proved that they will put politics above patriotism at every turn. It’s no wonder only 20 percent of Americans admit to being Republicans anymore – it’s an embarrassing label to claim,” Woodhouse said.

So, in summary, if you’re an Obama critic you’re racist and siding with the terrorists.
Good to know, I guess.

    Is criticizing the Nobel Peace Prize committee for awarding the Prize for zero accomplishments the same as criticizing Obama? Obama himself acknowledged that it wasn’t for anything he’d done.
    Is Obama criticizing Obama and thus, “racist and siding with the terrorists” by doing so?

    But seriously, I’m a Dem and I don’t see how Obama got this. Clinton’s saying it’s for his “vision”. You don’t get nobel prizes for wanting to do something, you get them for DOING IT. He’s been too busy trying to patch together the economy – and for some reason, taking a fool’s journey into the land of medical reform – to do anything nearly worthy of this type of honor.

    I’d like to see him give it back. I also wish I had heard that Rush comment, not that I’d actually be able to listen to him talk long enough to catch that gem.

    I voted for PresBo because I was sick of Bush and thought there would be more of the same if McCain were elected. Now, because of the way the GemmicRATS are calling anybody who disagrees with them, or PresBo, racist, anti American, stupid, etc., I think I made a terrible mistake. Everyone I know that will admit that they voting for him now say they wish they had not. It’s not too late. We can and will start to make a difference in 2010.

    Oh yes. We’ve been working with the Norwegian Parliament for decades now to get our people in there. The Carter and Gore prizes were just cover setting up for this day.
