Dems Attempting To Distract From Obama’s Fraudulent Campaign Money

By launching a fishing trip into McCain’s fund raising.
The best defense is a good offense, right?

(CNN) – After nearly a month of Republican assaults on the fundraising of Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee is returning fire.
The DNC announced Saturday that it intends to file a complaint with Federal Election Commission about contributions to Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign.
Democrats will ask the FEC to investigate whether the McCain campaign accepted contributions in excess of the legal limits, entirely failed to report contributions, and accepted anonymous contributions in amounts greater than $50. The DNC will also request a complete audit of all contributions to the McCain campaign.

Note that the Democrats, unlike Republicans with Obama, don’t have any actual examples to show that McCain has doing anything untoward with his fund raising. With Obama, we have thousands of examples of contributions from donors with made-up names and made-up addresses – as well as evidence to prove that Obama’s campaign disabled disabled its web security to allow these fraudulent contributions to take place – to prove that something fishy is going on.
I think we can dub this they “Hey, look over there!” defense.

Great idea: complete audits of BOTH campaign’s contributions.

  • Chaos

The worst part is that you continue to see them out and out lie. Just like Obama did on abortion at the last debate. Even Earl… got down and uses the media to deny and lie

That is a great idea but NOBAMA will never release his donors list. The man is the king of obstruction.

Sounds good to me, Bruce. I’m all about transparency.

I just find it funny that the Democrat response to Obama’s fund raising problems is to go on the offense.
