Democrats To Target Moderate Democrats This Election

Because Congress isn’t liberal enough right now, I guess.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — A powerful union, influential bloggers and several liberal groups have formed a political coalition to pressure conservative Democrats to support liberal policy goals.
“Accountability Now PAC will recruit, coordinate and support primary challenges against vulnerable congressional incumbents who have become more responsive to corporate America than to their constituents,” the PAC said in a written statement provided to CNN.
Accountability Now comprises of BlogPAC, Color of Change, DailyKos, Democracy for America, MoveOn, Service Employees International Union and 21st Century Democrats.
The PAC was created last September, and organizers have been acquiring funding and hiring an executive director to oversee the project, Jane Hamsher, of the political blog firedoglake.com, told CNN.

It will be interesting to see how people like, say, Rep. Earl Pomeroy here in North Dakota react to this. North Dakotans isn’t going to tolerate a move left (at least not on certain issues), so it would seem as though Democrats who like to appear moderate are going to be in a tough spot.

Well, that’s what you get when the Democratic party is run by jackasses like the Daily Kos.

Apparently it is completely lost on these morons that a major part of why they currently have a majority is by running moderates in the first place. True blue liberals don’t win in those districts.

Its exactly like their campaign to get rid of Lieberman. Backfired completely. You want to get rid of Lieberman, great, nominate someone better, not some far left fool that the hardcores in the party support, but can’t get elected.

These fools are only going to hang themselves by doing this.

The purges have begun, The Night of the Long Knives is here! You are not pure enough, you must be eliminated for the good of the party! SIEG HEIL!

This happens everytime a socialist takes power, why should we be shocked? This time, at least its peaceful and being done through the ballet box.

North Dakotans have been far too tolerant for too many years. There is only one state in the union that just had both of their Senators vote in favor of the fairness doctrine.

Yup, our friends Conrad & Dorgan, I suppose looking for full employment for their friend Ed Schultz?

Michelle Malkin’s got the roll call vote.
